Long time no post~! Finally had the time to actually come around and make an update. ;;
Saw a couple of pretty March covers today. *u*
→ Junko’s “Kasa no Shita, Futari“, Hachida Killy’s “Hirotte Kudasai” and Kowazurai Shibito’s “Wakaresaseya no Koi“. Reason why I was actually avoiding looking at new BL releases in Chill-Chill is that I might see Junko’s newest tankoubon release… And I eventually did. orz; Quite a new feel for Junko’s cover if you ask me. Her Konbini-kun left me hanging (well, sort of) so right now, I just wish I can finally break out this buying hiatus and finally get my hands on this new tankoubon of hers.
Hachida Killy… if I’m not mistaken. Her work seems cute—kinds I actually fall in love with. Also, this seems to be her first tankoubon release! *u* The story kind of reminded me of “Kimi wa Pet” for some reason. ;;
Now for Koiwazurai Shibito’s, this is the cutest cover from her yet! Really makes me want to weep silently just by staring at it sobs. I really regret not buying her other works from the start. But at least I got to read something from her in onBLUE… I think. I love her art and I can’t wait to completely read her previous works. ;n;
→ For anthologies, I previously posted in homodesu covers for Citron 13 and Moca 9. Click!*u*
Halfway through the school year and it’s finally summer break for me! Thank you for those who still gets to read my blog/s even if I don’t update as much lately. ;n; but I promise to be more active this summer!
The only work of Kumota Haruko which I insanely loved so much. I only got to discover her early last year and Itoshi no Nekokke was the first work I read and it immediately became an all-time favorite of mine. I always recommend it whenever I meet a new fujoshi friend and they would always tell me how cute the art style is and the plot’s just as adorable. So for those of you who haven’t read this yet… Or any of Kumota Haruko’s work for that matter, please do! I highly recommend reading anything from her! ;u;
Anyway. Mixed feeling of happiness and sadness right now though, lol. Happy since the cover didn’t disappoint me—it’s so cute and definitely as expected from Kumota Haruko. Sad because I won’t be able to read it until I can finally buy mangas again… which is still a very long time from now. ;A;
For now, I’m just enjoying (and torturing myself) as I patiently wait for new covers these coming months. I’m afraid I have already listed a lot so most probably I’ll be spending a lot when this purchasing break is finally over.
Ahhh first off, I want to apologize for my absence. Exams are done but I got busy with tennis and had to help dad with his upcoming project. Also, our desktop PC’s still needs repair so I only had to use my phone for internet connection for the past few days. ;;
Anyway, onto the release update!
→ Some pretty covers from titles released recently this month:
→ And for some upcoming releases:
Quite excited for “Uchi no Ko ga Ichiban!” since it’s all about animals and seeing Ogura Muku’s illustration for the cover made it more exciting! *q* it also has a very exciting line up—click!
→ Now for some upcoming releases for the month of February:
New Year bringing us new colorful and sweet-looking covers—except for Katou Setsuko’s that has a more dramatic feel to it. Sadly, I only got to order Katou Setsuko’s and Narazaki Souta’s for the new year. ;; I’ll be on a long purchasing hiatus next year (but hopefully not sob) since school will surely get in the way already (finals and whatnot).
Anyway, been a while since I last read something from Katou Setsuko and Tennouji Mio so it’s nice to see them releasing tanks again this coming year. Quite excited as well for Narazaki Souta’s “Fudanshi Monogatari” since I’m really hunting down for good fudanshi-themed stories and this one seems to be a perfect buy. *0*
Other covers by Nishihara Keita, Aoiro Iriko, Nakazato Takeko(?) and Mito Hitomi are pretty tempting as well. Newcomer Nakazato Takeko seems pretty interesting but I’m doubting if I should really get myself a copy after my purchasing hiatus, lol. Must read reviews first for this one. ;;
And now, as for the last cover—KOBATO MEBARU. It’s a novel so I’m not sure if I’m going to buy it just because it’s Kobato Mebaru, IDK. /;A;\ I miss her. I really do. I wish she can release a new story soon. ;;
I’ve been waiting for this cover since I knew about its release. The title really amused me since the title means “bride capture plan’. The cover looks just what I expected it to be. It’s so adorable. <3
I’m fairly new to Itsuki Makoto’s works and I’m very excited to try reading this new tankoubon release. I’m also planning on buying her other previous works such as “Henai Jijou” and “Hoshigari na Kimi“. I’m still waiting for the cover of “Katei Choukyoushi” since the title also seems so interesting. Haha
Anyway together with Itsuki Makoto’s cover, Daria also posted their June issue with Fuyuno Ikuya’s “Patchwork Family” on the cover + Fuyuna Ikuya’s “Binetsu no Kajitsu 2 ~Butterfly Sky~“. Speaking of Fuyuna Ikuya, I’m also thinking of giving her works a try. For those who have been paying attention to this blog for the past few months, I (vaguely) stated that I’m still on the verge of discovering new and old mangakas and Fuyuna Ikuya is one of them. I heard she makes amazing smut so I’m really excited to give her works a try – maybe even her shoujo smut, “Happy Happy Bravo“ because I’m sooo curious about it, lol.
On another note, CRAFT has already posted their cover for vol. 48 on their website! Yay for a larger version + more info on the lineup. (*u*)
I’m still working on my next reviews so please do look forward to it. (*^▽^*)
PS: Spammed everyone with Kojima Lalako, Sunae Hata and Junko manga scans in my tumblr yesterday. （´ー｀）
