BL updates

→ First off for Yamashita Tomoko fans, I’ve read from onBLUE’s blog the other day that they’ll be having a special feature on Yamashita Tomoko which includes an interview and a conversation together with Hideyoshico! *w* also, they included a “prototype” oneshot from her previous doujinshi—which I never heard of before.

→ More from onBLUE, Ishino Aya will finally have her first comic appearance entitled “Boku to Kimi no Midori to Drill“. \*u*/ They also mentioned this anticipated new BL work entitled “good morning, bad day“. UGH SO EXCITING. ;A;

→ The cover of HertZ band. 47 has been posted—click! *u*

→ Okay, so what I’m really excited about is Canna’s volume 21 cover—YAMADA TORICO. She has a new series coming up!!! \*A*/

→ As for Citron, they already posted in their blog a preview of Kitabeppu Nica’s cover for her upcoming January 2012 release, “Ojisan wa Wasuremono no Naka“. *u*

Citron Web will also be holding an anniversary celebration since this is finally Kitabeppu Nica’s 10th tankoubon release. Will really look forward to it! ;u; ❤

BL Update – finally.

I’m so sorry for the long absence! I got busy with driving school and enlisting matters at my university. I was actually thinking of updating last week since I was all hyped up about Kojima Lalako’s recent blog entries.

➜ First of all, she made a tumblr account. Although, she removed her post about it after a few days (or was it the following day?). I don’t really know what’s her reason for removing that post but she didn’t delete her account – she’s still posting some yummy doujinshi teasers and fanarts there, lol.

➜ For those who wanted to buy her “Kawaii Kimi no Koto da Mono” doujinshi at the Super Comic City 20 held early this month in Japan, you can finally buy here it at ComiComi Studio. \*u*/

➜ For magazine/anthology news, she’s in the newest issue of Chara Selection and Moca! I swear the stories seem so interesting (I promise this is not me being biased! ;u;). So as I always say in my blog, I rarely read stories serialized in magazines. I only buy magazines/anthologies whenever I see a mangaka I know and if something seems new and interesting. ;;;

Gateau’s Vol.3 cover by Ogura Muku – IT IS SOOOOO  BEAUTIFUL. /;A;\ and what’s more is that, from what I read on Chill-Chill, Arii Memeko’s “Hitorijime Boyfriend” has been continued! Not really sure about the story though since I haven’t read it yet. sob

I’m pretty sure a lot of Arii Memeko fans are very much hyped up about this said continuation; so if you were able to read the first story and loved it, better grab your copy of Gateau Vol.3 noww. *q*

Some exciting releases.

Sorry it’s only now that I got to check some BL release updates. This will be kind of a short post since I forgot to list down all the releases for this month and next month. Gahd. OTL

These are just some of the exciting releases for May and June..

For drap, Okuda Nanao’s releasing her latest tankoubon, “Kimi no Tonari wa Ore no Mon!” on the 25th of May. I’m really, really excited for this even if I only got to read her “Rinjin wo Aisou” just recently. I must say it was soo cute!! The characters are adorable and the plot was very nice. Can’t wait to read more of her works soon!

She also had her “Go no Ato de Kisu o Shite” tankoubon release from Asuka Comics last May 1 together with other title releases by Abe Miyuki, Kitabeppu Nica and Nakamura Shungiku.

And for other exciting drap releases…

Aoi Levin’s “Mata Ai ni Iku” and Jaryuu Dokuro’s “Yakozen“. Really excited about these releases since I rarely buy BL magazines (lazy to do so, actually) so what I do is just patiently wait for its tankoubon to be announced/released. Although I try my best to keep updated with some since I’m always on the look-out for new artists whose works I can actually follow – take Kojima Lalako and Junko for example. (*´▽`*)

Reviews: 花の嵐は、~Hana no Arashi wa,~ (ミリオンコミックス Hertz Series 96)

First of all, I’m terribly sorry for the late post. Had a hard time connecting to the internet yesterday. OTL

Note: Entry consists a lot of images.

So, this is my first time to read Konjiki Runa’s work. I just managed to stumble upon this tankoubon while lurking around HertZ’s site (B’s-garden) a month ago. Her art really intrigued me (since I’m a sucker for pretty illustrations) and when I read the synopsis in HertZ, I unhesitatingly ordered a copy. I’m not very familiar with her old works but I might try buying her “Yubisaki Kara Kisu o Shite” and “Te Tsunagi Gokko” if the last of my current orders arrive already.

It’s been a long time since I last read a comic with full Japanese texts (grade 4, I think) and some of the sentence structures and kanji characters gave me a hard time since my knowledge of the Japanese language is still not at that level. But nonetheless, I managed to finish it.

Happy April Fools!

So for the past few days, I loaded up on a crazy manga reading spree, lol. Got to finish Kojiki Runa’s “Hana no Arashi wa” a few days ago and got to read Mebaru Kobato’s “Sawatte, Tokashite” and Katou Setsuko’s “Wasuremono” yesterday. I’m currently on vacation right now and damn happy about it – more time to read more BL and watch gay porn at home. /gets shot

Anyway! I’ll be doing a review about Konjiki Runa’s “Hana no Arashi wa“… TOMORROW! I forgot to bring my memory card reader with me here at our vacation place so I won’t be able to share some manga scenes with you if I do the review now. About the story, I reaaally liked it a lot since it also had some incest moments! (>///<) but overall, it was kind of… missing something. Nonetheless, I liked the whole story. The characters are totally adorable and Konjiki Runa’s illustrations are just wonderful – although it reminds me so much of Kojima Lalako’s. Hrm. I still have a lot of mangas to read back home – Takarai Rihito, Mieno Saori , Kumoto Haruko and Younezo Nekota.

On magazine releases, HertZ just posted their cover today:

No cover for CRAFT yet.

I haven’t really tried reading a lot of BL magazines. I just happen to get some downloads of their anthologies in some random sites. But since I’m starting to love a lot of new BL mangakas lately, and most of them get their works published in HertZ magazine, I’ll start buying BL magazines as well. /wallet crying

Also, Ishida Ikue’s “Shitsuji wa Yoru wo Matou” will be released today. HertZ already updated their site with it’s release feature. CLICK

For Yamane Ayano fans, her cover for her latest addition to her Finder series is already posted in Libre’s site. CLICK

Morozumi Sumitomo’s “Kitto Yumemiru Yamaarashi” will be released today as well!
